Single family dwelling demolition

The Briggsville Water District, acting through its Board of Commissioners does hereby request proposals for the demolition and removal from site a single family dwelling located at 494 River Road in Clarksburg, Massachusetts. Said demolition and removal shall comply with all applicable Massachusetts General Laws (MGL) and Commonwealth of Massachusetts Regulations (CMR) by a Massachusetts DLS licensed contractor for legal demolition and removal. Subject property DOES currently contain some materials deemed to be hazardous as evidenced by a hazardous material study completed on said property (please see addendum A).

All bids shall be delivered ELECTRONICALLY IN A PDF FORMAT, with no exceptions, to the Briggsville Water District, clearly labeled “Proposal Demolition and Removal 494RR” in the subject line of said electronic submission to the Briggsville Water District at the following email address: Briggsvillewaterdistrict@yahoo.com No later than April 26th, 2021 at 5pm eastern standard time.

All Proposals shall comply with all Massachusetts General Laws (MGL) , including but not limited to: 1) Prevailing wage, 2) Liability and Workmens Compensation Insurance, 3) Non-discrimination/Equal Opportunity Employment Practices, 4) Demolition and Disposal Practice regulations, and 5) Evidence of Licensure.

The Briggsville Water District reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal submitted if deemed to be in the best interests of said District.

An on-site inspection/tour will be conducted on Friday April 16th, 2021 at 3pm eastern standard time. Associated questions may be submitted via above email for answers or clarification.

Hazardous Material Removal 494

The Briggsville Water District, acting through its Board of Commissioners does hereby request proposals for the removal from site hazardous materials as identified in “Addendum A” located at 494 River Road in Clarksburg, Massachusetts. Said removal shall comply with all applicable Massachusetts General Laws (MGL) and Commonwealth of Massachusetts Regulations (CMR) by a Massachusetts DLS licensed contractor for legal demolition and removal. Subject property DOES currently contain some materials deemed to be hazardous as evidenced by a hazardous material study completed on said property (please see addendum A).
